Book review 1

Title : Charlie and the chocolate factory

Rating: with 8 out of 10

Recently I have been reading Charlie and the chocolate factory, It’s an interesting book that leaves you with anticipation thinking what will happen next. I’ve read this book a few times, but everytime I read it I feel fuzzy inside. It’s quite an old book, but one of the most unusual books I’ve ever read. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but my favourite part is the beginning, I find that the first part is a little boring but it gives you time to wonder to think about what will happen next.

Main character: Charlie

Bio; A poor kid that finds a golden ticket whilst walking home from the newsagent.

Sphero Chariot questions

  1. For the entire project, what do you believe could be added changed or removed?

For the most of the project i enjoyed the making of the chariots and racing, but the things i would change are how we had to do a launch cycle. But the rest is really enjoyed!

2. Would you do it again? and Why?

I would probably do it again if we had more rules and made it less free to do anything we want.

3. What is the difference between the winners chariot and yours?

Our chariot was a little to heavy which caused it to not glide around the corners as smoothly but the winners chariot glided through the corners.

4. Explain how you designed and built the chariots?

First, we had to create a plan of what we want to make our chariot look like, Then we picked out our materials. And the fun part! making the chariot!

5. Will we ever use the skills we learnt again? Why?

I think we will because doing the launch cycle and planning before doing something is very important.

5×5 Alliteration

1.  Bang Bang Bang!! as the the bright blue chariot crashes!

2. The audience cheering as kip crashes into another crazy chariot.

3. The speeding sphero sings a song as it speeds past the finish line.

4. People plead for Pedro to plie past the corner.

5. The crowd cheers as the chariot driver clings on to the chariot.

I Am Simile poem

Today I am as energetic as a monkey with bananas up a tree.

Yesterday I was as tired as sloth sleeping in a tree.

In public I am as shy as a cricket in the daytime.

In my room I am as silly as a newborn puppy.

To my Brother I am as anoying as a mosquito flying around my face.

To my Mum i am as helpful as a bee in a bee hive.

To my friends I am as weird as a meerkat popping it head up and down.

But really I am as calm as a panda rolling down a hill
